Biography
Mani Safarpour was an 18-year-old youth killed by security forces in the Salsabil neighborhood of Tehran during the January 2026 protests, shortly after his 18th birthday. He was reportedly buried in Lahijan. A poignant video of his father grieving over his body while repeating the words 'Mani, you go, I'm coming' became a widely shared symbol of the movement's tragedy.
مانی صفرپور جوان ۱۸ سالهای بود که در جریان اعتراضات دی ۱۴۰۴ در محله سلسبیل تهران به دست نیروهای امنیتی کشته شد. او که به تازگی تولد ۱۸ سالگی خود را جشن گرفته بود، بنا بر گزارشها در لاهیجان به خاک سپرده شد. ویدئوی سوگواری پدرش بر پیکر او در حالی که جمله «مانی، بابا تو برو من میام» را تکرار میکرد، به یکی از تصاویر اثرگذار این اعتراضات تبدیل شد.
